Embracing change has never been so important as demonstrated with the events of the past year. And whilst 2020 has been a year like no other, it has allowed us as individuals, communities and businesses to reflect on our daily routines and prioritise what really matters to each of us.
Across the world we have been inspired by the gracious acts of volunteers and individuals, who have been committed to turn the pandemic into stories of hope, resilience and togetherness.
Which is why this year we wanted to convey a message of gratitude and appreciation within our festive communications. Closer to home, this gratefulness extends to our colleagues, friends, business partners and customers who encouragingly have kept a light of optimism burning bright and helped us continue with the importance of our work, making trading a fairer, more transparent and safer place.
Our short festive video this year features our Westhafen Tower HQ on the river bank in Frankfurt. We hope it marks the beginning of our path ahead, to light up 2021 together with you.
It is the season for giving and we have chosen a few charities we hope we’ve been able to make a difference to: Caritas in Frankfurt, Premiers de Cordée in France and Caritas Archidiecezji Krakowskiej in Poland.
This year has been challenging for people across the world and we too wanted give something back to those children and families in need over the festive period. We have worked with the selected charities to provide Christmas presents for under privileged children and those in hospital this year, donations to help families in need and to support the integration of sport into the care journey of those children recovering from illness.
